Welcome to the Global Website of Jamia-Tul-Madinah, Affiliated with the Kanz-ul-Madaris Board International.

To protect and preserve the religion, Allah Almighty put in place an excellent system of Quran reciters and memorisers, Hadith codification, Hadith experts, revivers, preachers, saints, Sufis and scholars. Religious seminaries play the biggest role in producing such individuals. Religious seminaries have always remained at the forefront of providing the best of people for Islam by way of teaching and purifying the self.Alongside producing outstanding individuals, these seminaries eradicated various tribulations and false innovations throughout the ages. They made people aware of the divine commands and prohibitions. They established prayer and fasting, upheld the boundaries set by Allah Almighty, taught and spread the Islamic sciences, and to reform various nations and deliver the commands of Islam to them, they also translated countless books into many languages.

اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه In today’s day and age, Dawat-e-Islami, under the supervision of the renowned spiritual guide and leader of Ahl al-Sunnah, Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ, has established religious seminaries by the name of Jamia-tul-Madinah for the best interests of the Ummah, to increase knowledge and actions, to teach and provide education, and to purify the self.

Whether it is in Pakistan or overseas, Jamia-tul-Madinah stands out both in terms of providing a high standard of education as well as excellent character reformation training. In Jamia-tul-Madinah, in the spirit of the motto provided by Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ, which is, “I must strive to reform myself and the people of the entire world”, students are provided with excellent hostel facilities too. Jamia-tul-Madinah provides these inheritors of Prophetic knowledge with unique residential facilities and food.

Some of these unique aspects are mentioned here:

Residence: Residential facilities are provided for students and teachers who travel from distant cities, and their seasonal needs are met. For example, water coolers, hot water, and electronic devices are provided as necessary. Additionally, efforts are made to provide beautiful buildings, small gardens, vast courtyards and parking facilities.

Security systems: For the safety of students and teachers, some Jamiat al-Madinah have CCTV cameras installed, whilst every Jamia-tul-Madinah has security guards and inspection systems in place.

Medical facilities: For the health of residential students, from time-to-time, medical camps, free treatment and awareness regarding seasonal illnesses are provided. If possible, small hospitals comprised of a few beds are also set up in Jamia-tul-Madinahs. To remedy major diseases, or in the case of surgery or an emergency, treatment is undertaken in other hospitals, and the support of Dawat-e-Islami’s FGRF Department is sought in this situation.

Meals facility: Quality meals are provided free-of-charge. In accordance to the principles of a healthy lifestyle, a weekly schedule has been formulated, which is implemented with minor changes as per the season and location. This includes healthy, excellent, simple and beneficial traditional foods. A hall, dinner mat, nice dishers and clean water is also provided.

Clean water: اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه To provide clean drinking water that is free of any impurity or bacteria an RO filter plant is also installed. In areas where a filter plant is not installed, clean and pure water is still made available.

Library: A library is considered a necessary part of every Jamia-tul-Madinah, in which new and classic books on a range of sciences and disciplines like character, spirituality, preaching and Islam are available for reading. A suitable environment for reading, the organisation and protection of books, and quality furniture is also arranged.

Time schedule: With a schedule a person is able to carry out a lot of work in a small amount of time, his personality is refined and progress towards success is facilitated for him. اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه From the unique aspects of the hostel system is an excellent schedule for 24 hours. Timings for sleeping, waking, eating, studying, revising lessons and carrying out religious works in nearby areas is all stipulated, by means of which students become punctual and develop good personalities, becoming assets for society.

Providing students with good food: Sometimes, on special occasions, students are given many delicious and good foods that are not on the regular schedule. For example, fish and eggs in winter, fruits, juices and milk and on Eid al-Adha, kebabs, BBQs, custard and rice pudding. Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ sometimes invites select students on Eid too.

High food standards: The department makes efforts from time-to-time to ensure high standard foods are prepared for Jamia-tul-Madinah. In this regard, experts are called in to provide training for chefs, teaching them things like how much oil, spices, etc., to use according to the number of people they are cooking for, how leftover bread and other food can be reused, as well as methods to preserve onions, garlic and meat.

Whenever the administrator visits a Jamia-tul-Madinah, the food is especially checked to ensure that the students are not being given food that contains excess spices, oil or ghee, as well as checking the chapattis. Besides this, dishes, jugs, glasses, dining mat, etc., are all checked, and if any problems are identified, regular efforts are made to rectify them.

Respectfully presenting food to students: In the Jamiat al-Madinah’s of Dawat-e-Islami, students are given food collectively in a respectful manner. A team is formed for the purpose of serving food to the students. At meal times, students come to the dining mat and the team serves them food, allowing the students to eat in an organised manner.

اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه, Thanks to the excellent hostel structure and successful education system of this great department of Dawat-e-Islami known as Jamia-tul-Madinah, today the Ummah has been given scholars, orators, imams, muftis, teachers and preachers. These individuals are working within their respective fields and in accordance to their skills to serve the religion. There is no doubt that this is a result of Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri’s sincerity, piety and passion to help the Ummah.

May Allah Almighty grant Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ a long life full of goodness, keep Jamia-tul-Madinah established forever and allow Dawat-e-Islami to continue flourishing.
